About the Book

An issue that concerns the European Union is the management of water recourses. Limnopoula is a teaching manual to get introduced preschoolers and first-grade students to the role of the Institution of the European Union through a fairy tale that combines realistic and mythical elements. In addition, this book is negotiating values such as communication, diversity, environmental protection, part of which is the water of the lakes, in a simple and attractive way, adopted to the level of preschool and early elementary education. Especially for educators and parents both, Limnopoula is a primer on involvement of children in drama, art activities, and educational games, such as puzzles or tombola. In the end of the book is proposed a variety of activities that strengthen educational purposes. Finally, the epilogue of the story reflects the dynamic and progressive role of the European Union Institution. Limnopoula isn’t only a kind of a bird. In our story, Limnopoula is a bird of values!
