About the Author

Phyllistine Simmons is an American author who believes in celebrating and nourishing the power of imagination of children through fun, fictional tales. As a school teacher, both the United States and Asia, Simmons has utilized imagery, imagination, and storytelling to support students in improving comprehension and cognition. Recognizing the reduction of creativity and imagination in your children firsthand, Simmons invented numerous characters fictional tales and adventures to spark her students’ imagination and support their passion for reading. One of her most popular and grandiose characters was a short, awkward, pudgy, and proud bear by the name of Wolf-fin. Simmons has crafted, cultivated, and developed the concept and story line for numerous adventures for Wolf-fin and his friends, and they are as limitless as Wolf-fin's imagination.
