About the Book
No More Closed Doors is a book about a black woman suffering from Mental Illness and her Suicide attempt. It is about her no longer wanting to hide her depression behind closed doors and wanting to bring awareness to her community, the black community. The book is about dealing with tribulations and allowing God to turn her test into a testimony.
About the Author
My name is Christina T. Nance. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I am married to my husband, James E. Nance Sr., with two beautiful kids, Jayla and Malik. I love to travel with family and friends. I love hosting and have family gatherings and occasionally a night out with the ladies to unwind. I am currently taking online college courses in Associate of Applied Science in Human Services at Kaplan University. I wrote this book based off my own life experience in dealing with mental illness. I suffer from depression. I want to bring awareness to my community about mental illness and to stop generational curses of hiding.
