About the Book

The basic purpose of this devotional book is to give opportunity for Christian Americans to gain a renewed appreciation for the role of our God in our nation, as he did both in the exploration and founding, as well as what he would like to accomplish through his people today. God is very interested in what is going on here in his earth. He is particularly interested in the lives of those who have entered into a personal relationship with his Son, the Savior of the world. God looks on those people who have received Jesus to be their Savior as part of his family. He desires to gain great pleasure in them and confidence that they will continue the Christian heritage that was indeed the desire of the settlers and founding fathers. A fair look at the history of our nation will show the fingerprints of God all over it.

About the Author

After having served as a public school educator for thirty years, Lee entered into the pastoral ministry, and became the founding pastor of the Tri-County Bible Church in Gilbertsville, PA, where he has now ministered for nineteen years. As an educator, Lee was a high school social studies teacher as well as a head basketball coach, a head golf coach, and an assistant football coach. He then became a high school principal and served as an administrator for seventeen years. During his tenure as an educator, Lee was quite active in his home church as well as in community youth work. In his work as a pastor, Lee prepares devotional readings each week for his congregation as a follow up to the Sunday sermon. This book is a sampling of those devotional materials. Lee and his wife Marcia have been blessed with six children, eighteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
