About the Book

Prom Knights follows some of the adventures of a high school junior as he prepares for his junior prom. Everyday life in a small rural area in the Wild West is highlighted with the antics of Bug. This happy-go-lucky young man faces life with a smile and enjoys the loyalty of a close friend. Together they become partners in the rescue of a young lady who, because of a horrible accident, was on the verge of missing one of the most memorable nights of her life. With several hilarious twists in what would normally be a routine process of preparing for the prom, Bug and his friend end up involved in both heartwarming and emotional events that lead to them becoming “prom knights.”

About the Author

Vallyn’s life has been filled with adventures from those of his wild youth, to the Navy, and as a Green Beret in Special Forces while traveling around the world. However, none have compared with the wonderful adventures of living with the love of his life, Sunshine, and raising six awesome sons, who have added 21 grandchildren to the picture. Following in the tradition of storytelling found in his other books, 48 Acres, Semi Santa, and Pink Pigeons, Prom Knights continues the wonderful and heart touching adventures found in everyday life. Drawing from real events and everyday life, Vallyn has a unique way of expressing life. It’s a good idea to keep a box of tissues handy when reading his books.
