About the Author

Inspired by her mother, who loved reading the Bible, Grace grew up captivated by the stories and as they relate to ordinary people. Her writing was further encouraged by her fifth-grade teacher who quickly picked up on her passion. She married in 1982. A devoted military spouse, she traveled several countries, serving with her husband, a military officer. While in Berlin, she wrote plays with narration from the Armed Forces Network. The Berlin commander, Brigadier General Jack D. Woodall, recognized her for her work on 27 April 1987. She collaborated with the Berlin community, creating historical, theatrical shows using fashions crated from Frankfurt and Schweinfurt, Germany, earning her the civilian medal in 1990. As senior administrator of the US Army Medical Simulation Center, Grace was a feature writer, Medical Advance Burn Life Saving Paraglide story (2006). Feature writer with Lucille Newman, Train to Save Lives on the Battle Field Paraglide story (2008). She attended KEE Business College for two years and is a proud graduate of 1990. She transferred to Ashford University, where she studied paralegal science and business administration. Grace enjoys volunteering, visiting the VA nursing home on weekends with her family.
