These smiling fruits are ready to entertain again, ready to help little people understand and use some simple Spanish and eventually to wind down towards the magical world of sleep… Being a mother of Four and grandmother of six and having spent most of her adult life involved in Pre-School education, she has again, married linguistics and laughter in her usual way! With vibrant illustrations and a lively text small children will not even realize the educational undercurrent sweeping them along! With this gentle dipping into another language, hopefully they will easily adopt some words and sayings in Spanish…opening the doors, metaphorically, to a wide new world of wonder and learning. Abbey, although English, lives in sunny Spain, where she and her husband run a successful Microlight flying school…although kept busy a lot of the time, her constant companion has always been a good book and to pass on to a small person her absolute love of reading, would be her dream come true…to be lucky enough to go forward with each day having endless possibilities, rich with colour and wonder all found within the pages of a book…must be a life well lived, surely?!
