About the Book
Jodi loves her grandma and all the fun they have together. When she stays with her grandma, she starts to notice changes that she cannot explain. Scared, she turns to her mother for help. After a visit to the doctor, they get the news that Grandma is showing symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Jodi feels angry, lost, and alone. A nurse helps Jodi understand this awful disease, and Mom reassures Jodi that their love for Grandma will never change.
About the Author
Carma Lee Weisbrook grew up on a farm in Nebraska. Her family and extended family instilled in her faith in God, love of family, and hard work. She graduated from college with a degree in elementary education. She continues to teach and has shared her love of learning with her students for the past thirty-one years. She enjoys writing stories and poems about her family. She got the idea for her first book from her mother, who had Alzheimer's disease. She resides on a farm in Nebraska with her husband, Duane. They have two grown sons, one daughter-in-law, and one grandson.
