About the Book

Aleph could do so many things like run, jump and even kick a ball. You would think this would make her happy. But she was not, because she could not speak. Read how Aleph overcomes her problem and finds her voice.

About the Author

Ellen Sklaver has been teaching and telling stories to young children for over twenty years. She is currently a religious school teacher at Tifereth Israel Malden. In addition, Ellen works as a Manager of Library Services for New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University.

It is her love for both teaching and art that has inspired her to write this book. The purpose of this book is to incorporate a creative Judaic curriculum in which children can learn both Hebrew and Jewish values through storytelling.
