All In God’s Glory

I would probably have to say that the thought of writing this book came from my induction into the College Football Hall Of Fame. When I was in New York for the induction, the one thing I remembered the most was running into all the coaches and players that I've read about and watched all my life. One of the most amazing things I got to experience happened when I was in the line-up getting ready to go onstage for the Induction Ceremoney. I was sitting on the first row with my head down listening to all the information that was being given out when I heard the announcer say, "Sam Huff will be intrducing the existing Hall Of Fame coaches." I immediately looked up and there stood Sam Huff right in front of where I was sitting. When the itinerary had been given out, I went straight to Sam and introduced myself as the 10-year-old boy who had written him a letter asking for an autographed picture. Forty-seven years later,I was able to thank him for sending that picture to me!
