About the Book

The study consists of five chapters. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research, the importance of undertaking the subject as a topic for research in addition to the main terms and concepts used for the purpose of research. The second chapter includes the theoretical part. Chapter three refers to relevant foreign and Arabic studies conducted in this area. Chapter four explains the methodology and procedures followed in addition to the project, tools and analysis. The final chapter presents an analysis of results and recommendations. The researcher recommended further research on the concept of an integrated family in raising and nurturing children with mental disabilities with an objective of incorporating them into society. It is an important area of research that would benefit the challenged child as well as the family with support on raising and caretaking of this category for future interaction with society similarly to ordinary children. Dr. Sabiha Alsamerraie - Born in Imarah Maisan- Iraq. - Bachelore of Social Scince, then Master of Art in Sociology and lastely a PhD in Educational Scince - Special Education. - She has many researches and publication in the field of Social Scince and specialized education for people with special needs. - Prepared and supervised many cources for university students in Sociology and special education. - Worked in different institutions and schools of special needs in Iraq, Jordan, Oman and UAE. § بكالوريوس الخدمة الإجتماعية - جامعة بغداد. § الدبلوم العالي في التربية الخاصة. § ماجستير في علم الإجتماع. § دكتوراه في التربية الخاصة. § أنجزت العديد من البحوث والدراسات في المجالات الإجتماعية والنفسية. وأعدت دورات تدريبية في التربية الخاصة ورعاية المعوقين، وأشرفت على تدريب الكثير من الطالبات الجامعيات في عمان. § عملت في العديد من المراكز والمعاهد والمدارس الخاصة بالتربية الخاصة لرعاية ذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة،في مجال الإعاقة العقلية والسمعية والتوحد. في العراق والأردن وسلطنة عمان والإمارات العربية.
