Have you ever considered taking time away from your day to-day life to obtain real life experiences through travel that will help you grow both personally and professionally? Have you always dreamed of sipping hot chocolate under the Eiffel Tower in Paris or posing for a great photo in front of the Taj Mahal in India? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the book for you! “Wanderlust: For The Young, Broke Professional” was written by a young woman who has dedicated her life to seeing as much as the world as possible and in this book she lets you in on some of her secrets on how she has been able to do so. Fed up with the daunting task of working a 9-to-5 in a career that didn’t fulfill her personal or professional growth, Deidre decided to take a break from it all to travel and explore the world. About the Author

After being exposed to international travel in college through a study abroad program to the Dominican Republic, Deidre has since worked, studied, and traveled internationally to more than 30 countries on 6 continents. Deidre believes there is power in exposing yourself to the world: the power of learning about different cultures, the power of learning new languages, and the power of growth as an individual. She believes that traveling should not just be a luxury solely for the wealthy. She is especially excited to share her personal travel tales in hopes of inspiring others to see the world.  By the time she earned her master’s degree, she had already taught English in South Korea, studied the Hindi language in India, and practiced Spanish in Costa Rica. After completing her degree, instead of putting it to use right away, she decided she would be courageous enough to quit her job and travel the world for a gap year to explore her life’s passions- that is how “Wanderlust: For the Young, Broke Professional” was born. In this book, Deidre shares her secrets on how she was able to explore such beautiful places without having a huge budget.
