About the Book

“Do you believe that there’s someone up above? And does he have a timetable, directing acts of love?” Pulp – “Something changed” ***** Nikki Bailey lives in Australia; Vince Marshall lives in England. It’s Christmas; through alleged misfortune they meet and jump feet first into a tunnel of love. It is fast and furious – “absurd” from the outside. They share a love capable of transcending all boundaries - known and seemingly unknown. Their future is set; their future is certain. Living their dream in a very real world. What could possibly go wrong? This is a story of perspectives, love, hate, selfishness, selflessness, joy, fear, sorrow, the ordinary and the extraordinary. Appealing to male and female readers alike. ***** ***Not suitable for persons under the age of 17. Frequent strong language, sexual content and some violence***

About the Author

Edwin is 46, married with one child, and lives in Trowbridge, England. In the Real World is a concept borne out of personal experiences and was first created over 10 years ago during 2003. However, a catastrophic computer failure, during 2006, ensured that all of his work was lost. In hindsight, there is an element of gratitude expressed by Edwin for losing his work 7 years ago. The culmination is a much improved and updated storyline, which has been maintained by his truly heartfelt application and passion. Edwin admits that experiences within his own life have influenced his writing of this novel; he has been to Australia (twice), and has been influenced by the country and certain people within it. However, the story is grossly exaggerated and takes the reader far beyond anything actually experienced by Edwin or those who influenced him, either within the UK or Australia. Nevertheless, it is apparent that he feels the love portrayed in his first book or, at least, he can empathise with it. Is there a chance there will be further novels from Edwin? “Yes,” he says, but also makes it very clear that the genres may be entirely different. However, like everyone else on this planet, Edwin will experience further things from life; who knows what this will conjure up within his very fertile mind?
