The tree didn't exactly remember how it became aware of its' surroundings, it just remembered feeling the warm sun and cooling breeze on its' leaves. It took a moment to simply enjoy the pleasant feeling. After a short while, it realized there were no other trees around. It was not concerned about being alone. It was confident there were others in its' world. It just had to be patient and wait o meet them.

About the Book
A parcel of land was gifted to a grandaughter from her loving grandparents when she married and started a family. On this parcel, was a sassafras tree that she had watched grow since she was a child. This is the story of the changes the girl and the tree went through together and the memories made and shared.
About the Author
Lynnette Randoll grew up on her grandfather’s dairy farm, creating many fond childhood memories. She has lived in the small town of Bloomsdale, Missouri since she was two years old when her family returned to her mother’s childhood home. She worked in the City of St. Louis until her daughter was born and has since held many local jobs including work at St. Agnes Catholic School, work at a local feed store, and bartending at Dew Drop Inn. She is currently the City Clerk in Bloomsdale, Missouri.
