CHAPTER 11: NOBLE DESTINATION by AMAL ISLIM 2009 All Rights Reserved When darkness was all around me, Mindlessly, I pondered why! I was in my own womb, Forming my inner tie! Wondering, why life has forsaken me— Why that deny? I’d forgotten that the flower opens in its time, And if rushed, it will wane and die. Now in patience, I pray for my light! And try to ignore my vanity’s delights. I create beauteous vibes and that’s my home. I expand, radiate and there I roam. I walk and live through my dreams. I follow no one and my rivers stream. In my “minds”, waterfalls I comb! I believe in the best— Yes, gastronome! I sail through storms, not dumbed with fear. I challenge my absolutes, my far and near. In happiness— I’ll live, And right up to the end, With my truest friend, And that was I. Joy, I brought and received— Truly not deceived! I’ll leave this earth with a glorious goodbye. Not the one with one less scum! And meet my heaven as a golden light, While my angels sing— “What a glorious ray— O, welcome”! Courage and bliss— I wish you if you take this road. As there will “heart-quakes” in most episodes. Doubts will visit your rising soul, And test your gigantic sadness, While feeling naked and alone— In your combat, poor and armless! But, do whisper to your Doorkeeper: “I am here to quest and question. I’m after my light, not my pension! I’ll stand the test—I’ll bear the sway. I wish for my best—I’ll catch the ray. I’ll search the extraordinary in my human face, While they live by their phone! I’ll bathe in the impossible and welcome the unknown. I’ll travel the lengths to reach the depths of my soul— I’ll unmask my meaning and my call. I’ll live my dreams against all odds, I deserve the good—I dared to fall.” That was my story and it was no fiction. To inspire, and release some tension To find your authentic self— It’s not cash you need, But out with that inner trash— Before it’s too late! You can’t mend yourself, After you become just ash! No easy way to break the cycle. Must walk the line if you want the miracle! Let go of your past, Maybe give it a glance or two! Keep advancing till around heavens you flew. And when loneliness becomes the snuggling solitude, You may your star pursue. Call upon your adoring evolution that will set you free, And wish for every plenitude. Wander the universe upon your will. Sure you deserve that altitude! And once you’ve felt that magnitude, You’ll long to live forever and a day! And to celebrate your existence, For finding your sincere play! That’s your art that you’ll share— So you’ll help those with an open heart. Enjoy your new wish and its dream. Believe in your vision and its theme. Then embrace yourself with loving light— Oh, that reconciliation…! As what is a victory without a noble destination!

About the Book
My main message is if we fight our own demons, learn to forgive and love ourselves, do and attract the good, then we can reach our inner peace, where all other blessings stem from. When we reach this point, we do not have the need to fight or hurt one another, thus, tolerance, compassion, acceptance, and hopefully, earthly peace. In my book Privileged Grace, previously published as Walking with the Vain Cattle in 2009, I shared through the best truth I knew, my deepest thoughts, emotions, pains, challenges, dreams, gradual healing, evolution, insights, and triumphs which led me to my light. Of course, each of us will have different quests and battles to reach happiness and peace. Mine were mainly dealing with the conformity, banality, mendacity, and evil of our world, such as war, corruption, slander, manipulation, abuse, etc., and to top it, my own ego. This might explain the choice of the previous book’s title. Simply, this was the diary of my spiritual journey, and I know that this odyssey is still at its beginning. But as any other book, movie, or a piece of theatre, it either brings you laughter and tears, guidance, awareness, realizations, smiles, messages, inspiration, etc., or it doesn’t. It is up to you to see it from any point of view you please or simply view its points, and then you can still distort it, if you wish! About the Author
I am Amal Islim. Name means: the Right Hope. I am an author, poetess, songwriter, psychologist, consultant and above all an explorer. At the age of 17, I departed my home in Jordan, moved to Germany, then England, then Canada, then the United States, then Switzerland, now in Spain, and God knows where life will take me tomorrow. But as all these explorations did not satisfy my soul, I started to look into the beyond to find a greater meaning, the absolute, therefore, left all for a spiritual journey and wrote this book to document it.
