Isaiah 42:5 Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. As the trials of this generation intensify, the Lord God will begin to do new things to get Himself glory. Those who trust Him with their lives will be prepared. Deuteronomy 18:18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee (Moses), and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name I will require it of him. About the Author
The four winds that spiritually influenced the author, Stoney Gill are:
(A) Church of Christ - When I was a small child, I had a nanny whose name was Gannaway. She was Church of Christ. Praise the Lord! This covered wagon pioneer instilled God’s law in me before I ever had a chance to choose for myself.
(B) Southern Baptist - My family is Southern Baptist. I learned God’s Word there Sunday after Sunday thanks to many faithful Sunday School teachers like Charlene Keith and Bernice Clem. As an adult, I was able to teach in many capacities at various SB churches.
(C) Primitive Baptist - Momma Jo (Southern Baptist) was married to Daddy Floyd, a Primitive Baptist. Primitive Baptists feed people and then pray them into heaven. They do not allow their members to join any secret organizations. God used that seed of understanding from that part of my background to expose agent 960.
(D) Non-Denominational - More recently, I daily seek where ever the deepest flow of the Holy Spirit river is, and jump in. I love the freedom of worship in many non-denominational congregations. Currently, I have been attending Northwest Bible Church two days a week, while being trained to prophesy through In His Presence Ministries on two other days of the week. God has blessed me greatly through both congregations .
I love sports, skiing, camping, and the great outdoors. I work with my hands (I Thessalonians 4:11). I have a college degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University. I have been a high school athlete, a farmer, a plumber’s apprentice, a skilled carpenter, an entry level banker, a cattleman, an organic fertilizer salesman, a coach, a crop insurance adjuster, a city-councilman, a licensed Texas appliance installer, a father, a husband, and now a writer. I am at peace with man and beast. I like to stay in shape physically and mentally. I am in the choir. Church is my social life. Spiritually, I long to tell the masses, “God is a great God”.
