Imagine. You are at school and your favorite teacher Mrs. Lee tells you, “I noticed you were playing so nicely with your friends.”
You feel your star growing brighter! You feel happy and full of light. Later that day at lunch time, you notice that the new student in your class looks lost and doesn’t have a place to sit.
How do you choose to react? You have two choices.

About the Book
Everyone has a star in their heart. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy or a girl, or young or old. This book started off as an assignment for Dr. Maya Soetoro- Ng's Peace Education class and has evolved into so much more. About the Author
With a passion for strengths-based education and a personal mantra of focusing on what’s going right, Naomi Rombaoa Tanaka serves as Coordinator of the Hawaii Positive Engagement Project at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Since graduating with her Master Science degree in Early Childhood/ Elementary Special Education, she has been dedicated to putting theory into practice in island communities. Rombaoa Tanaka truly values connection, service, and lifelong learning. Her debut book Brighter, Brighter, Brighter! is a childhood dream come true-a creative mix of colorful art and simple but powerful words.
