About the Author

Mary Curtis resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, with her husband of 37 years.  She has been a vegetarian for almost 20 years and has won awards including "Cook of the Week" for her meatless recipes.

Mary is also the author of "Compete With Meat" and "Eat Smart" as well as a columnist and freelance writer.  Her articles and columns have appeared in the Daily News and Animal Press, among others, and she has also won awards for her fiction and poetry.
