About the Book
This Book is a collection of Quizzes on a wide range of topics. There are Quizzes on Sport (including Cricket, Golf, Horse Racing and Football), Literature, Nature, Geography, the Human Body, Current Affairs, Shakespeare, Mythology, Music, America, World Wars One and Two, Beers of the World, and Academy Awards, amongst others.
There are fifty Quizzes, each with fifteen questions, set to a challenging but (if you know a little about each topic, fair) standard.
It is intended that there should be Quizzes to interest a wide range of readers, whatever their interests.
About the Author
The Author is an Australian in his 50s, resident a long time in the United Kingdom. He is a qualified Schoolmaster and Law Graduate , who now has a position as a Private Tutor.
He is widely travelled, including a number of visits to the United States (in which Nation he was on September 11, 2001), and to Eastern Europe (both before and after the "Curtain" came down), and the Middle East.
He finds Quizzes of particular interest and, having gathered a large number of questions, decided to write this Book to share his love of Quizzes with the general public.
