About the Author

George was born in Columbus, Georgia, son to Willie and Maggie Goodman. George has five brothers and three sisters and is happily married to Joyce, Marshall – Goodman. They began their family with two biological daughters, Lileta, and Joycette. But through the years God continued to bless them with 14 girls and five boys, and they all love God, and are active Baptist Church Members. George is a 1970 graduate of the William H. Spencer High School in Muscogee County, and attended Columbus College. During that time George devoted six years to Carver Elementary School under the “Title One Program” tutoring students troubled by their own behavior disorders, under the leadership of Dr. James B. Woods. After leaving Columbus College, George served in the United States Army. Following his military tour of duty he returned to Columbus to continue his education where he graduated twice from Columbus Technical College. He later received his certificate for the art of ventriloquism, from the most leading school of ventriloquism in America. “Maher Studios, School of Ventriloquism,” Littleton Colorado. George now owns a small business, “ENTERTAINMENT WITH A PURPOSE, ” which is comprised of a special collection of entertainers featuring his award winning “EWAP Puppeteers.” George is a Gospel Recording Artist, along with his sister, Francine, and together they have nine recordings, while Francine has 32 singles to her personal credit. George has self-published eight books, and is in the process of re-publishing and placing them all in the hands of carefully selected professionals. In 1999, He retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections, and is now employed with a Sheriff Department in Alabama.
