The purpose of this book is to identify in greater depth and fullness, my ability to withstand difficulties and setbacks in life and view them as learning experiences. The most important factors on which our characters are defined are our ability to perform and succeed in difficult and stressful conditions. Age or sickness should not dictate our ability to take immediate control of our mental, physical, spiritual, emotional and financial destiny. Faith and belief in our true worth in this journey of life can strengthen or weeken our ability to achieve optimum health and wealth.

About the Book
The words, “prostate cancer”, overheard in casual conversation are enough to cause the average male to cringe. To actually be diagnosed with this condition is to many a devastating blow from which they never recover, neither emotionally nor physically. Matthew McLaren received the blow and turned it into a twofold opportunity. First, he overcame his own cancer. Secondly, he gave us detailed roadmaps so that others in the same situation can find their way out of it – or better yet, to bypass the quagmire entirely by taking simple preventative measures.

He interweaves science and personal experience in a delightful way.
The theme of this book is self-empowerment. Our body comes with its own innate healing power. It can cure itself of any condition – provided we give it the conditions it needs to do so, and in a timely manner. Matthew details what those conditions are. Much of the wisdom he expresses herein applies not only to prostate cancer but also to other forms of cancer and to disease in general.

Matthew McLaren was born in On November 27, 1997, Matthew had surgery for prostate cancer. The experience changed his life in a positive way. Researching prostate cancer influenced his decision to pursue a career in Nutrition Science. In January 2007, at the age of 67, Matthew completed his doctoral degree through Matthew lives with his wife in A percentage of the profits from the sale of this book will be donated to causes Matthew supports.
