One might think that a book titled Invasion would be a story of hundreds of war ships invading a Planet. In part this is true, there is a massive deployment of war ships on all the boarders of their Galaxy staging the largest invasion known. But this is only a small part of this story. The boys do battle with Pirates, Drug Lords, and Slavers. There is also the largest Wedding ever held on Lantis 4, when our hero’s get married. About the Author
Robert Lanese was born and raised in New York City . He entered the United States Navy (Seabees) at the age of 18 , and worked on the first highly classified Early Warning Missile Bases covering the Atlantic coast . When his enlistment was over , he worked in construction while attending night school for engineering for five years . Realizing he wanted to be in Law Enforcement rather than construction , he moved to Florida and worked for the Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff . It was at the Sheriffs Dept , were he found his love for writing . He found that every action he took and every call he investigated had to be written down twice , once in his personal notes and then on an official report . It was also here that he learned the cardinal rule of police writing (C C A ) Clear , Concise And Accurate . These rules have stayed with him always , making his stories , exciting , and fast moving . Threw out his years with the Sheriffs Dept. Bob attended the FBI School for Firearms Instructors. Bob worked the Streets and taught Firearms to his fellow Deputies , he went on to teach Ballistics and helped set up the first crime lab at the U S F Pinellas campus . Unfortunately it wasn’t until he retired that he took up writing seriously , and brought to life the Saga of Harmin Race . This series of books is a multi generational Science Fiction thriller , that keep the reader’s attention with its fast moving action (C C A).
