About the Book

The book is a remarkable unfolding of the marriage journey which discusses the significance of merging two lives into one. To do this we have to die to ourselves, shed our old man and single mindedness and become new and transformed.

In It’s marriage, Do the Math, we relate marriage and Math to a word problem. We learn in marriage, just like math, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication and other basic math principles are important to equal a successful marriage. Word problems are sometimes difficult and frustrating because you have to read the problem, figure out what the problem is asking you to do and then work through it. We face the same in marriage when we have a problem and need to take the same steps but we don’t always want to. In math, we want to give up, change classes or fail to try. In marriage we need to try because we are in covenant with God and made promises; therefore, It’s Marriage, Do the Math!
