About the Author

    Mary Jane has accomplished many things in her life;
her 42-year marriage to Henry takes precedence. Daughter,
Jennifer, son-in-law Michael and granddaughters Madison
and Mackenzie sum up the ingredients that make her
whole.
She was born in Canton, in the heart of the city of
Baltimore, Maryland. Fort McHenry, birthplace of ‘The
Star Spangled Banner,’ stood majestically nearby.
Blessed with a vivid imagination, she utilized it with
a variety of mediums: writing, producing, directing, and
performing numerous creative endeavors. A ‘Master’ hair
designer, color specialist and image consultant are just
some of the accolades she achieved locally, nationally and
internationally!
After winning the coveted title of MRS. MARYLAND
AMERICA 1985 and competing in the MRS. AMERICA
CONTEST in Reno, Nevada (promoting volunteerism),
her creative writing talents surfaced with passion.
A KEY TO LOVE has been a labor of love. It has
coupled her new-found delight in story telling with her
devotion to her religion.
