About the Author
As a parent of four children and a teacher for more than thirty years in the Los Angeles public school system, Jobina Fishman has developed innovative techniques that has opened closed doors to communication and understanding between parents and children. She has earned a Masters degree in Education and several certificates (one as a Reading Specialist and the other as a teacher of English Language Learners), and has become familiar with various aspects of education and communication. Her life experiences have given her a unique perspective that enabled her to create this interactive journal.
