About the Author

Annette Fuson has been teaching teenage girls for over twenty years in areas that affected them as they went through the troubling teens. The classes and discussions were lively and positive. The girls needed information, ideas, encouragement and sensible answers to what was bothering them: handling emotions, building boy and girl friendships, boys lines and pressures, getting out of bad situations, understanding sex, and building goals. She used this knowledge and experience to develop Straight Talk for Teenage Girls. Her B. A. and M.A. degrees are from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She now resides in Belton, Texas. She is married and has one daughter and one granddaughter.
