For now, you can wipe away your old rationality And succumb to the violence that is in your heart. Long have you waited, waited with no resolution, For the unfiltered catastrophe to fade away, And long have you waited for the terror to Be seduced by the fantasies of tenderness. But now the rapture that you derive From the eruption of the unbeaten ferocity Would exclaim a word of frenetic joy, And unveil the hypocrisy of the innocent.
PRELUDE TO BIRTH
There would be no unblemished savior to Ease the burden on your soul As you make your way to Life To recalculate your past doings. Thus, it is upon yourself - The decision to channel the Divine Rays.
CYCLE OF BIRTH
And so, you speak a thousand words, Uncounted yet they are, Undesirable they would seem to be When, after a thousand years On this very Earth, you would be Born again, with your Soul even older than It is now, Wiser than the Sages of today. But in spite of the possibilities, The Truth lies in your Breaking free from this Cycle of Birth.

Neptune's Dusk is the transformative interval during which human beings, after being saddened by the coarse realities of life and having to abort the pursuit of their humble desires for love and joy, navigate their minds in the direction of sacrifice and devote themselves to the search for wisdom and the knowledge of the higher forces of nature that govern our lives.
About the Author
Tawsif Anam is a young man channeling his artistic abilities into poems. NEPTUNE'S DUSK is his second book of poems, the first one being SHE HAS SURRENDERED TO SLUMBER. While receiving education in the fields of Political Science and Economics, Tawsif Anam has a keen interest in understanding the mysteries of human life. In his first book of poems, the author briefly addressed some of the aspects of rebirth and transformation that are embedded in the course of nature. In NEPTUNE'S DUSK, the author elaborates on his views about the cycle of birth, while also reflecting upon the confinement of the soul within the body of flesh and blood. This collection of poems is the result of the author's observation of human actions, and is the product of his efforts to emphasize on the importance of knowledge and sacrifice for the attainment of purity.
