Magic of Intention

How many times have you said “I want to do such and such to achieve this or that” and yet, not really been clear about what it is you want to achieve?  How many times have you felt that you knew the direction you wanted to take in order to succeed, only to find that the plan was not clear enough?

This is a tough chapter to face, even for myself.  In order to believe in ones goals or intentions, one needs to be CLEAR.

The Magical key to CLARITY is identifying what your values are.   For example do you just want to make lots of money for the sake of having it or do you want the personal freedom that comes from creating abundance in your life?

Being clear about your values will help clarify how you see yourself in the present and the future. 

I was divorced for 20 years.  In those 20 years, I had a few significant relationships.  But nothing seemed to work and I finally gave up.  I realized that I needed to specifically identify my values in order to be clear about type of relationship I wanted  and deserved.  Even more crucial, I had to understand that the most important relationship was with myself, not with another person. I value trustworthiness, personal power, freedom, being connected and spirituality.  I realized that these were the same values I wanted in a healthy relationship with someone else. Once I allowed CLARITY on board, my life changed.  (I am a slow learner – stubborn at times.  Have to do it MY WAY!)

Guess what?  I met my present husband on a plane and he’s absolutely great!  He is my friend, my lover, my confidant and my supportive cheerleader.
