Two romantically involved, but broke teenagers are caught up trying to catch a possible pervert in their town for the reward money. Their reasons for helping change drastically when a local youngster is actually missing. Madison wants to start 4-H in the fall with a calf. She needs to earn the money to buy it. How the teens share their discoveries and keep on the pervert’s trail is lively entertainment. Living on the edge of the Ozark Mountains in a small town, things like this kid napping just didn’t happen, until now.
The story is warm within the bounds of families then kicks into fast action for young readers.
About the Author
Judy Ferguson lives on a one-hundred acre horse-ranch in the Ozark Mountains, adjacent to the Illinois River in the heart of the Cherokee Nation with her husband, Joe. Wildlife is abundant, life is slow-paced and people are sweet and helpful. Judy grew up on a farm in central California where she learned the love of animals and about the hard work that comes with them. Judy and Joe have horses, geese, ducks and Akita dogs. Judy enjoys collecting wasp nests, creating original quilts, knitting, sewing and clay sculpture. She is a proud Vietnam veteran. Madison’s New Jersey is the second of the Madison Series. The first book in the series, Madison’s Square Garden, was published in 2008. A third in the series, Fit To Be Tied, will be published in late 2009.
