About the Author

Linda Swirnow has taught reading and evaluated elementary school students since 1982. She has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education K-12 with a concentration in Learning Disabilities. Linda and her husband, Wayne, enjoy travelling together and sharing their love of nature in PhotoPhOnics® Books. Some of their fondest memories include reading with their three daughters from a very young age. Linda continues to love teaching children to be enthusiastic, successful readers. She is a member of “The Council for Exceptional Children” and “The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.” Linda is inspired to write by her husband’s beautiful photographs and her love of teaching.
