Warning Signs to Remember
1) The guy comes on as charming, instantly loves you and wants a relationship.
2) He loves to go up against Authority figures, like Cops, Lawyers & Judges. It’s a real high for him.
3) He belittles and embarrasses you in front of others. He constantly puts you down, and calls you names like “stupid” or “bitch”.
4) He’s aggressive, even nasty on the road to others.
5) He demands your undivided attention all the time. Thinks you are his servant.
6) He must always be in “control” of you. He must always know where you go, who you talked to and how long you were gone.
7) He must always win the argument or have the last word.
8) He has given only false and empty promises to you.
9) He shows jealousy towards your friends and family members. Does not want them around, claiming to “love” you so much. This is called “isolation”.
10) He cannot take criticism and is always defending himself, acting like he’s the constant “victim” of others.
11) His “love pats” become more and more painful. They turn to slaps, kicks and punches.
12) He constantly “falsely” accuses you of cheating on him. When it is HE who is doing the cheating all along.
13) Don’t let his “false” tears and suicide threats keep you there with him to harm you even more.
14) You can’t help anybody who doesn’t want help or thinks they don’t have a problem.
15) They refuse to pay their bills, claiming “the creditor” caused him some upset.
16) Unstable men often live with their parents, even in their 30’s and 40’s. They can’t keep a job due to their inability to get along with their co-workers and is always causing trouble at work.
Remember:
He is an abuser and you are his victim.

Gabby Buzzman grew up in the rural South where she went to College and studied Creative Writing plus English Composition. She later returned to further her Education by studying Administration of Justice and Sociology.
She has had many things published in newspapers and magazines while she worked in the Journalism field.
The subject of Domestic Violence is one that she is all too familiar with. A local shelter helped and counseled her plus gave her the understanding about the Cycle of Domestic Violence and opened her eyes as to what was really going on.
