About the Author

Eva Caro was born in Florence, Italy, grew up in Austria, near Salzburg.

She studied a year of Law in the University of Vienna, met Michael Renteria Caro

and married him.  Realizing that the Austrian Law degree would not be valid in

the U.S.A, she switched to English, German and History as her majors. In the

U.S.A. the couple had .five children. At 40 years of age , Eva studied at the California University at Berkeley and graduated  from Library School with  a Master of Librarianship after completing the undergraduate B.A in Spanish and German.

Then she worked as a librarian in Oakland and San Francisco, after  a promotion to Senior Librarian  in Sacramento at the Caltrans Laboratory . Now retired ,she became a

fiction writer
