About the Book
Six-year-old Rahmel has questions. He wants to know what it means to be rich. His parents quickly teach him that family is most important and that being rich has more than one definition.
About the Author
The author, Ros Miles, knows first hand that young children ask many questions. The answers have to be short and simply sweet to be retained. She knows every question is an opportunity to teach. An opportunity to put good information in young brains and promote positive feelings and self worth. Ms Ros has always loved to read and write short stories, essays, and poetry. She won awards for her essays and short stories when she was in school. In ‘Mommy, Are We Rich?’, Ms Ros feels that having one of the main characters as a stay-at-home parent, while a reality for some, could also be a dream for other children. There should always be an element of dreaming when reading a book. Ms Ros Miles is a working mother of three and a grandmother.
