About the Author

Larayssa J. Sharper is a woman after God’s own heart. She model’s herself after The Proverb 31 Woman: The Wife of Noble Character. Larayssa is a wife, mother, sister, friend and a mentor to many. Believing she can do all things through Christ that strengthens her; she began having Bible Study and Women’s meeting in her home. The main goals of these meeting were to empower and to build character of those that attended. Since 2003, Larayssa has facilitated three women’s group and has plans of coordinating additional groups. Her favorite saying is “Where He leads me I will follow!” Larayssa J. Sharper served as an ordained Elder since 2011. Pursing Spiritual growth in 2014, she received a Certificate of Completion in Adult Ministry at Saint James Presbyterian Church, USA. Determined to follow God’s leading, she enrolled in SC Presbyterian School of Theology and graduated from the Lay Enrichment Program in 2016. Presently, Larayssa serves as a Pastor at Greater Christ Church Cathedral in North Charleston, SC under the Spiritual Leadership of her husband, Senior Pastor Orin D. Sharper. The couple is proud parents of four beautiful children and one amazing grandchild.
