About the Book
Meet a real-life dog who experiences real-world problems. His story will open your eyes! Bullying can happen to anyone—even dogs! Although they can’t speak, dogs have feelings too and express them by their actions or through their eyes. In this fictional book with real-life dogs, a dog feels the stress of being picked on. In the end, he doesn’t let this prevent him from saving the day.
About the Author
Angela O’Toole resides in Staten Island, New York, with her dachshund, Nathan. She is a fifth-grade teacher at PS 30 in Staten Island, where she has been teaching for seventeen years. Nathan is four years old and likes chasing squirrels, going to the puppy store, and spending time with his best friend, Yogi. With Aunt Fran, they enjoy going to the beach and patrolling the neighborhood. Nathan also looks forward to going to visit his Nonni and grandparents. He plays fetch in the yard and gets special meals cooked for him. Nathan also loves when Uncle Mike visits and he has a ball with the toys he brings him.
