About the Book

Incredible Pebbles is a vibrant collection of whimsical poems and short stories that are cleverly written and beautifully illustrated by Hoosier artist, Susan Shorter. This book is sure to be a fun read for both parents and children. Each page is different from the next, going from watercolor paintings, and pencil drawings, to ink and digital coloring. About the Author

Susan Shorter was born and raised in Indiana, and grew up within a very creative household surrounded by music, writing, and art. She graduated from South Putnam High School and went on to receive her BFA from The Herron School of Art in 2004 with a concentration in Painting and Illustration. Susan has been an illustrator for Author Solutions since 2007, and has illustrated over 250 books. During that time, she has also written and illustrated her first children’s book, entitled It’s a Muddy World in 2010, and co-illustrated the Dracula App by Inverted Pear for the IPAD. Susan enjoys painting and showcasing her work whenever possible, and often uses her art to raise money and awareness for the local animal shelters, as well as Habitat for Humanity.
