About the Book

I was inspired to write this inspirational story, because I see a lot of women, men, and children that are afraid. I seen myself in them, and I know what they are going through not knowing what to do. I have been through a lot of damaging situations in a lifetime. Until I got enough courage to seek help for myself, I was just like everyone else lost in the house. Some people get help others don''t know how, and this is where I come in to help them. Just letting people know what I have been through, and how God delivered me. I know this will help a lot of woman in their time of needing someone to be there for them. It''s not easy to admit that you need help, but once you do, everything begins to go in the right direction for you. I know some situation need more care than others do. Philippians 4:13 states; I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. God gave me the strength to overcome my pass, and he can help you overcome yours also. I know what I can do with Gods help, and I know he will lead me to help others. I don''t mind telling my testimony to whoever wants to listen. Anything I can do to help someone handle their unforgiving situation I will do it for their sake. We are not in this world alone we still have people that care. Being able to be someone''s friend in the time of trouble is a great thing. Especially if you been through a similar situation, and you have been delivered yourself. I''m writing to let Gods people to let them know that there is still hope, and there is a bright light at the end of all tunnels. I don''t want to continue to see people walking around with their head always hanging down. I''m here to let you know God will make away no matter how hard it seems. I also have a favorite scripture, Psalm 34:1-4 11 will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall be continually in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. God can deliver you, and it''s not impossible all you have to do is try him. Psalm 34:8 states, O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man trusteth in him. I will always try and find away to help those that have given up on life. Luke 13:10-13 talks about how Jesus healed a woman with an eight-teen year infirmity and we he did she glorified him. If I had to preach that right now I would say a brand new life.

About the Author

I was born and I grew up in ElDorado, Arkansas in a place called Memphis Heights with three of my sisters, and Grandparents. My mother also lived there, but on the other side of town with two of my other sisters, and two of my brothers. There are ten of her children still living, seven girls and three boys. I am the seventh child, and was born in the seven month, and seven is God’s number. Growing up we wasn’t allowed to go anywhere so we didn’t know much about life, and it was a mystery to us. They taught us about school and work, and we had to be honor students, and we were. When it came to life situations we was dumb. I thought I knew enough to run away from home, and that’s what I done, and it was the biggest mistake of my life.  I was badly misused by lots of people that I knew and I didn’t know. Over the years I learned a lot about life and people. Some how I made through all the hurt, and the pain. Everything I went through I’m here to tell you it really made me stronger. I stayed on the streets awhile until I found out that I had to make a choice. I had to go live with my mother or go to a Juvenile home. I chose to go with my mother, and we moved to Zachary, La. Where I attended school, and also graduated from that school May 25,1978. In Dec. of 1979 I moved to Sulphur, La., and I am still living there. I had three children, two boys, and one girl (one of my sons is deceased). I also have four grandchildren three boys, and one girl. My father died May of 1980.  Grandmother died, Dec. of 1987, four days before Christmas. One of my brothers was murdered in 1985. Mother died Nov. of 1996; she was laid to rest four days before Thanksgiving. My oldest son was murdered outside of his home in San Diego, Ca. Sept. 30, 2000. My grandfather died, in ElDorado, Ark. Dec. of 2000 he was laid to rest five day before Christmas. But through it all God brought me through. I can tell people after all I been through I still have joy. When my father, grandmother, and my brother died I was not save, and I didn’t know how to handle it. When my mother, son, and grandfather died I was save, and with God it was much easier to bear. It makes a big difference when you are serving God, because your trials are easier to handle. I can say that without God it would have been a disaster in the land.  Over the years having God on my side everything got easier to handle. I am married to a wonder man now, and we are serving God together. We have two special friends Minister Derrick and Cassie Gallien.

I really love my family and my husband’s family especially my Mother-in- law, Father-in-law, sister-in-laws, and brother-in- laws. The reason is because they treat me so special. I also work for a great co. I have been employed there eighteen years. I can truly say God has made a difference in my life.
