A woman’s Burden Pleasure and pain-the stains from a love lost-the cost is killing me-I opened my arms and heart to this man-We spoke of wedding plans-In the islands-On soft sand beaches-he told me don't worry about them past broads they were just leeches-He ran a marathon of game now I'm at my weakest-while he parties and smiles every weekend-I'm weakened from the sight of him-I needed closure but I guess it’s goodbye to him-I wonder why they lie to women-the nerve-do he miss my love-my curves-I hit the curb this morning trying to catch a last glimpse-I'll never fall in love again Black plight Ever most certainly-What's hurting WE is knowledge-Not the traditional what you may gain from college-But dying from the lack of-Running away from the black us-That real black love-The kind demonstrated in the marches-But now we are falling through the margins-If Mexicans are illegal aliens are we Martians? When we built this whole thing through hard charging-Where's Aladdin with his genie lamp or magic carpet-Is it just gas-Just to ask-Or is that excuse me farting-I'm a Spartan with my warrior piece-I come in peace-But you will bolder me over to take what I feast-Blacks didn't sign a lease for this-There is no love in this relationship-When you taking it-Like a rapist is-But all you can say is that we making this...look on the news. for the bruises inflicted-The pain from addiction-The dirty sedition-The numerous victims..death’s reality

The contents written inside this book are a road map from my infancy in writing and transforming into maturity. I titled my book so as to give the reader the opportunity to seek their own definition. Better Felt by the Pen is a title that came to me from an interior place, which says let the pen speak for you and you can stay silent.
