About the Author

Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, graduated New Hanover high school in 1964, then moved to Lake Worth, Florida, where I attended junior college and worked as a grocery cashier. I married, had a girl and a boy in Florida. Then we moved to McAllen, Texas, where I had another girl and another boy. I became a nurse and worked for thirty-five years. I retired and decided to try my skills at writing. I have written two books—fiction, suspense, romance, and the other is a children’s book. I hope you enjoy them both. My writer’s name is Kay Holden.
