About the Author

Dayton Foster’s love of art, history, philosophy, and photography launched him into a 12-year study of old burying grounds throughout Europe and America. This encouraged and examination of how man deals with death. His memorable collection of photos of old tombs, epitaphs, eulogies and words of wisdom from all ages kindles a new respect for living, loving and dying. His other book, The Wisdom of Nature is also an anthology with a poignant message. Foster worked 33 years in the advertising profession. Now he travels, enjoying art history and gathers material for another book.
