About the Author

Anthony R. Williams has amassed over thirty years of experience in various levels of physical security, including twenty-two years in law enforcement in the United States Army, and ten years as a independent security consultant for multinational companies around the globe. During his military career, he attended Physical Security School and was responsible for security on several military restricted areas that required the highest level of security. As criminal investigator, he gained valuable experience in crime prevention and the investigation of white collar fraud in both the United States and Europe. Having earned an MBA in Baker College, Flint, Michigan, he understands the complex business environments in which you operate daily. Moreover, he has a unique view of business with regard to security and loss reduction in our modern global economy. In this text, he shares his insights into corporate security in a direct and concise manner that will enable managers from all levels and in all sizes of businesses to put these concepts into action immediately. As student of the theoretical due to his twenty-plus years in the faculty of Central Texas College European Campus in the Criminal Justice Department, Anthony R. Williams has been able to stay abreast of advances in law enforcement and security on one hand, while on the other hand, he continued to hone his practical skills. Mr. Williams currently lives in a rural area of Germany and enjoys horseback riding, football (former head coach in both the German League of American Football and the US Department of Defense Education Activity [Europe]), and travel. His passion for teaching keeps him involved with Central Texas College and young college students, primarily American soldiers serving in Germany.
