DAVID'S JOURNEY

I am grateful for whatever time I have left. I hope I outlive expectations, but I am also realistic. I want to enjoy the time I have left, watching Anina and Raphael grow. I want to enjoy spending time with the love of my life, Michelle, and take in her beauty each day I am around to enjoy her. I want to enjoy my brothers, but have the sadness of knowing that someday four will become three. That's very painful as many things about this are. I want to enjoy my parents and show them how much I love and appreciate all they have always done for me" 11/24/10 "I have come to realize that life is a series of challenges and what you do with those challenges may be tied into how much personal strength you have. I have always been extremely annoyed when someone would come up to me or talk to someone I care about and say, " G-D only gives you what you can handle." I think that is such nonsense; G-D does not wish cancer on toddlers because they can handle it, G-D certainly does not look at the faces of my sweet kids and say ”l let me see if they can handle their father being very sick." I think that G-D presents challenges to people so as to bring people closer together. One of the bright spots about me being sick is finding my voice about how I feel. In addition I appreciate being supported by all of you." 8/15/11
