About the Author

Nkoyo nyong-bassey also known as Kony by friends is a very talented young woman, she is a graduate Metropolitan State University in St Paul,Minnesota. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She has written this novel to provide some insight on the struggles of most working class ladies in Nigeria, who successfully joggle family, love life,work and life happenings amidst betrayals from loved ones. Nkoyo migrated to the United States in 2006 from Nigeria in West Africa and has since been a resident here. She enjoys writing and celebrating her Nigerian heritage. This is her first book and beginning of more interesting novels to come. This fiction novel is based on contemporary Nigeria, love issues and family life, which readers will love and enjoy, as Nigeria is a country filled with rich cultural heritage. Nkoyo grew up in Warri, Delta state, Nigeria, where she lived most of her young life before coming to the United States. She loves the American culture, especially how it welcomes and accommodates people from different backgrounds and countries. Nkoyo lives in st paul,minnesota, she originally hails from Oron in Akwa ibom State, the southern part of Nigeria. Apart from English language this writer speaks, pidgin english and oron language. Nkoyo enjoys time with friends and family members, she is particularly fond of her little sister Atim, fondly called T-girl. Nkoyo has four siblings and her parents. Her siblings are Nyong,Kaezer,Etubonesi and Atim. Her parents are Dr. and Mrs. Etim nyong bassey. Her father is a chemical engineer and currently the head of department for faculty of chemical engineering, university of Uyo, Akwa ibom state,Nigeria. Her mother is a retired matron (midwife,nurse). Nkoyo's hobbies include, walking,travelling,reading and writing of course.
