Water Travel
`Waves! Big waves!' a boy yelled.
Riding hide, the launch heaved and rolled,
engine shattering, its sound changing,
upon salty water we traveled.
`Waves! Big waves!' a lady shrieked,
captain's compass lost unwanted,
passengers screaming, launch was wobbling,
upon salty water we traveled.
`Waves! Big waves!' an old man yelped,
brutal waves smashing,
anxious passengers, water overlapping,
upon salty water we traveled.
`Waves! Big waves!' we all squealed,
launch's engine halted,
passengers' life jackets distributed,
upon salty water we traveled.
`Waves! Big waves!' we all prayed,
passengers trembling, wetted and paled,
the launch arrived safe and sound,
upon salty water we traveled.

About the Author
In his elementary days, Cesar E. Gealogo was always tasked with reciting a poem in almost every occasion in school. In high school, he began reading poems as a hobby. At the age of 15, he began writing poems until it became fervor. He now finds contentment and happiness in his heart every time he reads or writes a poem.
He was a man who found the opportunity to write poems when nature fell asleep. He found the music of poetry in his heart and soul.
He was an avid lover of poetry and born and raised in Surigao City, Philippines. He married the charming Mariebeth O. Bullo in December of 2000 at San Nicolas de Tolentino Cathedral, and they are now blessed with two healthy kids, Hudson Cesar and Katrice Angelique.
He earned two baccalaureate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Criminology. He has also earned 36 units in a Masters of Public Administration.
He was a recipient of 32 different types of Philippine National Police medals for his exemplary performance and devotion to duty. A registered criminologist, he currently works as a police officer with the Philippine National Police.
