Dr. Mirahmad Hashemifard is an independent researcher with a focus on how historical events of over two millennia influenced and shaped the socio-cultural identity of today's Western secular world.
In his professional capacity, he is a medical doctor, graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. After spending ten years in Iran and Europe, he moved to the United States in 1969 where he received his specialized training, and has been practicing as a Radiologist since then.
Outside of the medical field, as an analytically oriented thinker, Dr. Hashemifard has always been interested to look at socio-cultural and political issues from an analytical perspective. This interest, combined with his life long experiences residing in Iran, Europe and the US, led him to begin researching the roots of Western Judeo-Christian culture. The result of his research over the past 25 years was his authoring of two books in Persian (Farsi):
1- “Shenakht-e Donya-ye Gharb” (Understanding the Western World), a 670 page book, first published by AuthorHouse in 2010 and revised and reprinted in 2012.
2- “Navasanat-e Farhang-e Gharb dar Tarikh” (Swings of Western Culture in History), a 460 page book printed in 2000 by Majed publisher in Tehran, Iran (ISBN # 964-443-053-0).
In addition, Dr. Hashemifard authored a medical book titled “Masael va Ekhtelalat-e Jensy” (Sexual Problems and Disorders) published in 1963 (1342 solar calendar) by Chehr Publishing Company, a major publisher in Iran of medical, scientific and university books (294 pages).
Dr. Mirahmad Hashemifard is also an inventor and a patent owner of a garden cutting tool which was manufactured and marketed under the trade name of SIKET.
