As the creator of these daily readings, I have provided a means that may assist you in the recovery process. Recovery is most likely the hardest thing you will ever do. The readings you find here can help. I believe you are worth it! I am a Certifi ed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor, having worked in the field of addiction medicine since 1982. I am also an Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist. I have worked with a variety of patients – adults, adolescents, professionals, minorities, chronically relapsed persons and those with dual diagnosis. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings – inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and continuing care. I have worked as a counselor, supervisor, trainer, director and consultant in the USA and Sweden. I am myself a recovering person.
