About the Author

Graham Hughes was a police officer for 17 years, a driving instructor for 17 years and he is now retired. He is a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and has a Diploma for Teaching Advanced Driving awarded by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). Throughout his time in the Police, he attended many serious or fatal road traffic accidents. Driver error was the main cause of these accidents. Obviously, more instruction and education would have been essential for the drivers involved in these accidents. When Graham was teaching, he taught learners to nearly an advanced standard. This was so that they could pass 1st time and had a good basic grounding to drive well. This book was produced to help learner drivers and people that have already passed their test, to drive to a very high standard. Graham lives with his wife in Guildford and has two children. He like watching football, doing jigsaws and reading thrillers and crime books.
