About the Book

"Very funny!" - Joel Schubert, Daily Sun

..."Not your average poetry book. It's GOOD!" - Dave Plowman, Arizona Star

"This bloke is crazy. Funny." - Edward Jenkins, The English Journals (UK)

This book is built from the author's standup comedy, formed into rhyming verses. (Some more offensive than others.) This novelty read is considered to be a unique, yet twisted example of a comic's take and observance on everyday events. Some believe it to be an insight into a standup comedian's mind, while others view it simply as "good bathroom reading material". Either way, COMEDY SICKNESS promises to be a fine and entertaining book to read - also making an unusual addition to any home library as well. Order your copy today!

About the Author

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Gregory Pahanish moved to the Washington, DC area, and started performing standup comedy. Since 1988, he has been performing at various clubs, colleges and other venues all up and down the East coast. A man who has been in movies, television, radio, live on stage, in newspapers, and now - an author.

He attended broadcasting school, and has been on the airwaves, as a traffic reporter, a weatherman, a DJ for a successful wacky morning show, and also as Producer/Host of his own cable access tv show.

He has written for other comics, skits and ads for television and radio, and of course, material for this book.

Greg has been cast as an extra in 'Forces of Nature', and 'Contact', and also has a running segment nationwide on a show called "Comedy Night School", which is broadcast on The National Lampoon network. He enjoys the outdoors, whitewater rafting, tree-dodging, and hanging out by a campfire. You can also catch him singing and/or deejaying at various karaoke bars. This collection of humor includes some of his best standup bits, which Greg has arranged into poetry form. You can contact the author at gregpahanish@yahoo.com or check out his page on myspace.com/gregpahanish to see gig dates, appearances, and book signing schedules. He can also frequently be heard on the Greaseman show, on WMET1160 AM, or on the web at www.wmet1160.com .
