Deogee

The sun peaked over Terrior Valley, the puppies played, and trampled in the lime green grass and the chocolate colored mud. Deogee did not play among the happy pups. He lay inside his room, enjoying the sun beaming down on his whiskers. His tail moved elegantly back and forth in content. Today would surely be a good day. Deogee thought to him self.

            “Good day it is senor Deogee.” a distant voice came. Deogee’s ears flattened.

“What are you doing here?” the kitten stuttered rolling over to see Sir G.

“Why do you ask...? Today you train.” Sir G growled playfully. Deogee’s face went blank for a second, but then Deogee finally understood. The mud faced Chihuahua wanted to see his skills. Quickly and hastily Sir G demanded they go outside. Deogee accepted and bravely rushed out the palace.

It was very early and the honey dew still peppered the grass. The slow winds slid through Deogee’s whiskers, like water in a strainer. It was the perfect atmosphere. Sir G bowed before Deogee. “Come at me.” He commanded with a whisk of his tail. Deogee looked left then right and sarcastically pointed a claw at his nose.

“You mean me?” Deogee asked. Sir G gave a strict chuckle.

“You don’t see another dumbstruck cat around here do you?”

After hearing that comment Deogee felt his teeth grinding each other, his tail began whipping like an angered snake and both his ears twitched.
