| SUNRISE IN BAISLEY I saw it from different directions in Buffalo. I saw it from valleys in Cali. I even saw it all across the Carolinas. But I never saw it in Maui. I saw it from Philly From Newark to Trenton And other parts of New Jersey. But I never saw one as lovely as A sunrise in Baisley. I saw it in Florida before the rain came. I saw it from Long Island But it mostly seemed the same. I saw it from the tallest building in Manhattan From every corner of BK And from Mitchell’s Projects in the Bronx But only in Queens was my breath taken away By a sunrise in Baisley. I’ve seen it in the sweetest mornings of spring In the hottest days of summer Blending with fall trees turning the color of fire And in the coldest days of December. I saw it when I was in love; That was best of all. I saw it with a broken heart Through tears that started to fall. I saw it with the best of friends I’ve shared it with my little fam, It reminds me of where I came from. It reminds me of who I am. Sunrise in baisley.

Sunrise in Baisley is a compilation of original poems. I'm sure there is something that will touch everyone who reads it and that every person reading it will find something he or she can relate to.
About the Author
Ryan M. Frazier was born in South Jamaica Queens, NY. He enjoys writing poetry, songs and short stories. His frist book, "Sunrise in Baisley," is a dedication to Baisley Park in Jamaica Queens, where he spent a significant amount of time as he was growing up and where many of these heartfelt poems were created. He has participated in recitals, received Poet of the Month awards and has been printed in local newspapers in and around Buffalo, NY. He has lent his talents to one New Jersey public school by serving as Creative Director of the Public Speaking Club where he encourages young children to express themselves through poetry and song. He has also used his talents to create a school song for the public school as well as created the lyrics for a school-based advertisement.
